Ceci is an artist and educator focused on play, image making, wellness and storytelling. She has a MA in Arts Leadership and a certificate in Art in Health from the University of Houston. Her work has included being an Artist in Resident for Houston Methodist Hospital, animation and photo residencies at Texas Children’s Hospital, contemplative photography at Houston Methodist, and worked as a teaching artist with Aurora Picture Show, Fotofest, Houston Center for Photography, Culture of Health Advancing Together (CHAT). She has been involved in the intersection of food, culture and art with Alief Art House, Finca Tres Robles and the Tequila Interchange Project. Her practice is nature based, and takes inspiration from radical hospitality. She relocated from Houston to Northwest Arkansas in 2023 to connect with her roots and swim in creeks and lakes.
